FAQ

Q: How do I care for my Harmonik bottle?
A: Harmonik bottles are easy to care for by washing with mild dish soap by hand. They are not dishwasher safe and you should not soak the bottles. Air dry with the lid open.
Q: Are the bottles delicate?
A: Harmonik bottles are highly durable and retain their high-gloss finish for years to come. Although under blunt force the outer casing may chip or crack, this is easily repaired for a nominal fee. Please use our contact us page to receive directions from a customer service representative.
Q: What do I do if my bottles chips or cracks?
A: Try to keep the crack or chip from getting wet to avoid any water discoloration of the paper underneath. You can try using clear enamel found at any arts and crafts store to repair small cracks or chips. Otherwise, cracks and chips can be easily repaired by our staff for a nominal fee. Please send us an email through our contact us page and a customer service representative will give you directions. Turn around time is usually within two weeks.
Q: Why do people keep saying plastic water bottles are bad for you?
A: The alarm is based on studies showing traces of bisphenol-A (BPA) in water bottled in plastic. Currently studies are investigating the connection between petrochemical traces in plastic water bottles and diseases like cancer, obesity, and birth defects. Harmonik uses BPA-free plastic water bottles or stainless steel for all of our bottles to ensure your safety.
Q: What are the pros and cons of stainless steel vs. the plastic bottles?
A: The first and more obvious difference is in price. Stainless steel bottles are more expensive to make then plastic bottles. And if you are a hiker and weight is a factor for you, stainless steel is heavier than plastic. However, there are many benefits to stainless steel bottles. For one, stainless steel has a cleaner taste and does not retain smells like plastic can. Second, stainless steel retains heat and cold longer than plastic bottles. And lastly, stainless steel is a more durable surface, inside and out, than plastic bottles.
Q: What do I do if I find mold growing in my water bottle?
A: Mold grows on liquids (particularly with high sugar content, like lemonade) inside your water bottle rather than on the bottle itself. Dump the gross liquid out and using warm soapy water you can clean the inside of the container and lid with a kitchen scrubby. Rinse thoroughly and dry upside down. We recommend washing your water bottle between uses of liquids other than water. If you are only using water allowing your bottle to dry out between uses is a good idea.
Q: How are they made?
A: The product process begins with a high quality, blank water bottle. Harmonik then searches for the finest designer and handmade paper, unique natural accents and striking art prints. Each of our designs is assembled with intense attention to detail and quality. Harmonik bottles have a richness of color and texture that can’t be found elsewhere in the market. They will maintain their high-gloss, protective finish throughout years of daily use. Rest assured they are extremely durable and appropriate for every day use.
