Currently, Americans consume over 70 million single-serving bottles of water per day! For each day of consumption only 17% of all those bottles are recycled. And worst on a global scale 8 out of 10 single-serving bottles end up in landfills or in nature. These single-serving plastic water bottles are toxic to our environment because they take a 1,000 years to biodegrade. Sparking a new conciousness, Americans in record numbers are kicking the habit of using single-serving plastic water bottles-a trend we applaud since 1.5 million barrels of petroleum go into producing them. Today we can choose not only to reduce our impact on this pressing problem, but also enjoy self-expression in our reusable water bottles.
